Postpartum Doula Services

Postpartum Doula Services Include:

Postpartum Doula services are scheduled during the day Monday through Sunday with a minimum of 3 scheduled days a week and 3 hours per day.

Postpartum care includes:

  • Non-judgemental support and listening.

  • Breastfeeding/ chest feeding/ bottle feeding support and education.

  • Meal planning and cooking as well as nutrition education.

  • Help with emotional and physical support after recovery.

  • Light housekeeping and laundry.

  • Sibling care: bedtime assistance, after school pick up and care, daytime care, overnight care.

  • Assistance with newborn care: diapering, feeding, baby soothing techniques, bathing

  • Running errands, when needed.

  • Home organization.

  • Information and Education: local parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation consultants, support groups, ect.

  • Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorder assessment.

  • Family Mediation or conversation facilitator.

  • Overnight infant care.

  • Assisting with multiples.

  • Milestones and early childhood development education.

  • Nanny and daycare assessment.

  • Attachment Parenting support.

  • Emotional support for single mothers whom will be dealing with the DSHS, Healthconnect, and court custody or parenting plan. As well as help finding the right legal resources for you (I cannot fill out paperwork or am I privy to details of these, but I can be emotional support and an advocate for the mother through these very hard moments after baby is born).

 

*Nutrition before and after the baby is born is integral to the mother's recovery and baby’s development. I concentrate a great deal on preparing nutritionally dense meals for families, bulk meals for at least three days of the week. I work closely with the family to avoid food allergies, but strive to push the boundaries of your taste buds in the most delicious way.

Cygnet Postpartum Doula services offers gift cards as a shower or baby gift for family and friends. It could be the most important gifts you give a new family.

Every client receives a Mama Care Package upon contract signature.

The Mama Care Package consists of:

Loose Raspberry Leaf Tea

and 2 Herbal Sitz Bath tea bags

Pets are family too!

I am very comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes.

Helping your family means giving a little love to the pets of your family too.

I do not work in homes where parents or caretakers are smoking.
